Federal Oral Exam Test Dates

Good news for aspiring federal court interpreters!

Javier Soler, the project manager for FCICE, has announced that the federal oral exam testing will be held this fall, in October or November 2022.

Additionally, he has reported that a pilot test will be announced in a couple of weeks. It will be open to 200 candidates in July/August, and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who don't pass will be allowed to retake it this fall.

The summer and fall test dates will be posted on:

The AOUSC website (https://www.uscourts.gov/services-forms/federal-court-interpreters/federal-court-interpreter-certification-examination)

Prometric's website (https://www.prometric.com/test-takers/search/aousc).
